Company H – the "Pike County Rangers" was commanded by
Captain Kelly, of Pike County
Andrew J. Conatser, Marion A. Conatser and William P. Conatser all enlisted on 12/1/1861 as Privates mustering into Company H, 16th Arkansas Infantry [No further information]

Andrew J. Conatser, 35, Private, Capt William J. Kelley’s Company, South Arkansas Regiment,* enlisted November 11, 1861 at Fort Smith Ark. by Maj. G. W. Clarke for 12 months, last recorded on August 12, 1862 as Absent, left sick in Arkansas March 14, 1862, never received any pay, no further information.
Marion A. Conaster, 20, enlisted November 11, 1861 at Fort Smith Ark., left sick in Arkansas, March 13, 1862, never received any pay
William P. Conatser, 37, enlisted November 11, 1861 at Fort Smith Ark., died in Arkansas some time in March/April 1862, never paid
* This company was subsequently transferred to the 16th Regiment Arkansas Infantry about December 4, 1861, and became Company H of that organization
