Thank you for your posts. My family moved away to the Pacific Northwest in 1955 and most back there have passed out of contact. I was able to travel to Des Ark in 2004 to see many old homesteads and the Johnson Chapel Cemetery and the old Des Ark cemetery near the river where my GGreat Grandpa and Uncle are . I have been an avid student but I've told all I know about the 30th/25th and the 1stArkMtd.
I think I'll look at pre 1850s now, based on your posts.
