Re: Alexander Papers - Request of Help (#4)

Number four
http://mdh.contentdm.oclc.org/cdm/compoundobject/collection/mack/id/10681/show/10605/rec/711
page 355 / image 347 of 422
The text is wrong: it is a copy of the previous page's text.

Maybe it was the clearness of the callygraphy, maybe it was I'm starting to read 1862 handwriting, but I believe I have understood 90+% of the material.

Here is my homework. Any idea about the missing words?

General,
General Hindman desires that, at an early hour in the morning, you move forward with your entire command, on the Wire road in the direction of Van Buren, you will send forward to the telegraph office for particular ( ? ) ( ? ) to the place where you shall establish the Camps of your Division.
The General also desires me to call your attention to the fact that no requisitions has been made upon the Chief Commissary, as yet, for provisions for your command; and he enquires whether or not you are sufficiently supplied in that respect, you will ( ? ) probably move as far as Van Buren.
Respectfully

I enclose you a copy of General Order No 13 from these Head Quarters.
General Hindman directs [#1] that you immediately cause an inspection to be made and reduce the transportation of your command to the standards therein presented. The surplus transportation will be turned over to Maj Jno H. Crump, Chief Quartermaster. This order must be executed in force [#2] today.
Respectfully

Colonel,
I enclose you copy of General Order No 13 from these Head Quarters.
General Hindman directs [#3] that you immediately cause an inspection to be made and restrict the transportation of your command to the standards therein presented.

[#1] & [#3] the dot of the "i" in "directs" is not in the right place. Maybe I am wrong?
[#2] "executed in force" sounds strange to me. Maybe I am wrong?
