Where did you find these diaries? We have next to nothing on them at Chickamauga and would love to get copies for our files. As to the uniforms, you have been given some good advice as to sites, etc. Where were they at when they were issued the new clothing? Wilson's Brigade as you know were originally on the Coast before going to Jackson, MS and I have references to them wearing Blue-Grey Kersey Uniforms and also being issued leggings. Also the entire brigade was issued new flags in the spring of 1863, all from Charleston.
