Alan - In the Book "Portraits of Conflict" by Roberts and Moneyhon, there are several Arkansas soldiers shown in either Militia garb or in the case of Omer Weaver (Pulaski Battery)- State purchased uniforms - that would have fought at Wilson's Creek.

Weavers photo shows him in a coat with THREE rows of buttons on it and we know that he was wearing an Arkansas State Seal belt plate.

And sice Weaver died at Wilson's Creek - you have no doubt that his photo might have shown a later uniform.
