Thanks for your response which is interesting and answer the question I had as to what rifle was issued to them. Mr great grandfather, Parkinson W. Preston, was a member of the unit. I know little more than that because his son, my grandfather, never mentioned the fact that he enlisted. I certainly would be interested in hearing more from you. Thank you again. Preston
