Hello all,
I was wondering, if a Surgeon in a Union Ky cav regiment wore a brimmed hat what sort of hat cord would he wear if any? A yellow one for cavalry, a green one for the medical staff or what? I also wonder if a Surgeon, a Major, would have had any type of yellow piping on his frock coat the way some Union infantry frock coats had light blue piping?
