My family recently found a lock of a rifle or shotgun in the house of my grandmother who died a few months ago. I have not seen it but my dad says it has the words "MORTON COURTNEY" stamped on it. It looks like maybe a lock from a muzzleloader or possibly an exposed hammer shotgun, "rabbit ear shotgun as it is called around home". They found it in a cabinet that my grandfather kept some of his father's stuff in so it could be from late 1800s. Please e-mail responses to yellahammer@bellsouth.net
