I was wondering if anyone knows what became of the Sharps rifles AKA Beecher's Bibles used by John Brown's forces in Kansas. Were they all taken east to be captured with Brown, or only a small number? If they remained in the trans-Mississippi region, did they remain with Kansas units or were they dispersed throughout the area to serve either side?
