I've just spent the last several hours reading different postings concerning the markings of Tower enfields. I have very little knowledge concerning these and greatly appreciate the discussions you folks share.

The 1862 Tower(date over Tower) that I have,has the normal double 25 bore markings but it also has what I think is a barrel marking -Crown over "B" at the rear top of the barrel.It is very small. Any idea of what this means?

Lock plate also has a crown at the rear.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
