Thanks for your help with identifying the markings on my 1862 tower .

I have found one other tiny marking on the right side of the rear sight. It is a partial "& G." I have read some of the discussion of arms suppliers marks and other markings stamped on the stock and other places, but haven't seen any discussion concerning sight markings.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
