Joe,

I was just at a meeting with some folks who had info concerning the Confederate Museum in New Orleans. As of 8/31/2005 all artifacts and museum pieces were still high and dry and entact, but still in the museum. The major concern now is destruction by looters.

Folks who oversee this museum removed the outdoor signage so as to not draw attention to it.

The D- Day museum directly accross the street was looted and things that were not taken were mostly destroyed.

That's the last word I have heard.
