I have listed on ebay item number 6558321190. It is a NC Brass belt buckle from the civil war. Can anyone help me date it from the pictures? This one was found under water in the Tennessee River next to an old railroad trussel in Bridgeport Jackson County Alabama. I know that we found it in 1991. Some people are emailing me telling me that I shouldnt sell it that I should get it authenticated and then offer it to a museum that it is a very rare piece. Thanks for the help or offer any advice
