It would appear that you have an Adams revolver, retailed by D. Egg, with a place of business at #4 Pall Mall, London. The "patent no." would be the serial number of the revolver. The serial number of 32098 would place its manufacture to sometime during the Civil War timeframe. (I am able to determine this because I know that later serial number 40480 Adams revolver was used in the Civil War. 11075 was, too. Two unknown model revolvers, nos. 33609 and 36604, were also used in the Civil War, and I highly suspect that both of these were Adams revolvers.)

You should be able to find a lot of information on D. Egg. This was Durs Egg, who was a gun and sword maker. He was dead by this time (died 1831), but the business carried on from 1772-1874. Guns that he actually made are highly sought after and very valuable. 4 Pall Mall is a known address of his business (one of several addresses), the business having moved to that address in 1840 or so. I would suspect that a gun retailed by Egg's shop may also have added value over the same gun marked with another retailer's name.
