I can't picture an M1860 having an octagonal barrel, on that streamline design. Can you post a picture here or email it to me at *halowe@uab.edu* (remove stars). I know a couple of other guys that have CW era colt imports that I can share it with, and maybe they'll see some style similarities with their revolvers.
