Help with Enfield Bullets Please...

Hi,
I'm new to this forum and need a little help putting a positive ID to some bullets I've been digging near what used to be a small pre 1880 British post in Southern Ontario.

A friend of mine told me they were from an 1859 Enfield but I've only been able to find mention of 1853 and 1861 models.

These appear to have three grooves and I believe they are .58 caliber. They weigh app. 33 grams and are 25mm long and 15mm across the hollow base.

All have, or did have, plugs in the base made of wood, iron, or occasionally clay. Each have arrowhead stamps on the rim of the base. All the ones I can see into have various raised numbers or letters inside. The one shown has an 8 with a dot over it.

I'd very much appreciate it if someone could tell me (or point me to somewhere that could)what weapon fired these and what the numbers signify.

Many Thanks, Chris
