Nice pic of the "Selma Guards"

Hello all,
I came across a good pic of the Selma Guards that seems to have been taken in downtown Selma at the beginning of the war. I thought someone might be interested in it.

They have on grey uniforms, with the officers wearing regular ol' frock coats, etc.. Them and the EM are all wearing kepis as far as I can tell. The Enlisted men are wearing short jackets with one white cross belt for their cartridge boxes and their waist belt is white. Their arms seem to me to be two band rifles (correct me if I am wrong).

Does the drummer on the far left and the guy on far right look like black guys to y'all?

An interesting historical pic I though someone might be interested in. Go to: http://www.archives.state.al.us/trippe/trippe.html and scroll down to you see Selma Guards and click on that.
Take care,
David Edelen
