The 18th Georgia Infantry was formed in April, 1861, in Cobb County, Ga. After training they were sent to Richmond and soon joined the Texas Brigade, ANV. In November 1862 they were transferred to Toombs Brigade. Given your knowledge, guys, what would they have been armed with? My folks were in Co. A, and I'm just curious.
