There is presently a Fayetteville Sword on e-bay. The bid is up to $480. If this is genuine which I suspect it is not, $480 is a bargin price. I too would ask for a certificate of authenticy or make sure of a return policy if you can't document same. You must remember that anything the South made during the Civil War was very crude and an engraved blade is highly questionable.
