I have recently come into possession of an 1862 Tower rifle. It has intact proof markings, and the woman who gave it to me is going to take me to the grave of the civil war veteran who it was issued to. I'm going to trace the gravestone and frame the tracing. Then I can research the veteran's status from the war. Anybody have any idea what this rifle is worth?
