Issac & Co civil war era sword

I am looking for information about a Civil War era sword manufacturer. This manufacturer had no markings on the sheath but the name "Issac & Co" was stamped in the metal on the back side of the blade, near the handle. I am looking for any information about this company / sword. From Google searches I have only found a small amount of information about this company and would welcome anyone with knowledge of Civil War weapons to fill in the gaps about this company / sword and how they came to supply the CSA. It is believed to have belonged to a ancestor of mine who was a Alabama cavalry officer at the onset of the Civil War. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You.
