There is a short chapter in Murphey and Madaus's book, "Confederate Carbines and Musketoons" that both shows a few photographs of the arms, and of the manufacturing facilities in Alabama.

I currently have in my posession a reproduction of the Tallasee Carbine which was reportedly made to match the dimensions taken from an original. I am trying to research this carbine as well, as I wish to approve the said reproduction for use in North-South Skirmish Association matches for one of my members. Any additional information you can provide would be greatly appreciated...
