George,

Here's a my personal experience with "bronzecannon.com". Back in December they had listed a 1841 six pound smoothbore field piece with everything needed to take the field. It had an ammo chest but no limber. They had several pictures of the gun and a detailed description. I was looking for another gun for my reenaacting group. I tried for a month to contact these people both with their online form and by their e-mail link. I never got a single response. Being determined to find out more about this piece I saw that it was located near Birmingham, Alabama. I found the Alabama Division of reenactors on a google search and e-mailed the commander. Within a week he had identified the gun and owner and put me in contact with the gentleman. After several phone calls and a bunch of e-mails that six pounder now resides in Virginia at MY house. Now I get bulk advertising e-mails from bronzecannon.com on a semi-regular basis. I don't think these folks are in the United States. If you are interested in this piece I suggest you try to locate the owner directly and bypass this broker. I know I saved a lot of money on my purchase by searching the owner out. The piece I bought was not an original but an accurate (100%) reproduction. Good Luck.
