I am not a collector, or even that interested in Civil War items, but recently at an estate sale I found two sets of what appears to me to be Civil War era, union army first sergeant stripes. They may be reproductions, but they were found with a lot of really old stuff, and there was no indication of other era repro items there. They are about 9-inches across, and machine sewn to felt.
