For those of you who are previous subscribers to the "digests" for this message board, you "should" begin receiving a daily digest of any new messages posted on this message board, today or tomorrow. The digests make it very easy to keep up with new activity by listing all the new messages with hyperlinks you can click on to take you directly to a posting that is of interest to you.
If you are not currently a suscriber to this message board, you will notice a link in the "Navigation Bar" on the main message index page that says "(Un)Subscribe". If you click on this link, you will be taken to a page where you can enter your email address and you'll automatically be added to the subscriber list. From this same page, if at some point in the future you choose not to receive the "digest", you can also remove your email address and the digest will stop.
We have been without this feature on the message boards for some time. This was due to the web server software and security settings utilized by the company, from whom, I rent the message board server. For those "veterans" on these message boards, I know you remember this feature and many really enjoyed and appreciated its function. If you'd like to try the "digest" just follow the instructions as outlined above and you should start receiving the digest in your email within 24 hours. If you do not receive it, check your anti-spam and email settings to make sure emails from "history-sites.com" are not being blocked.
