I have an original P53 3 band Enfield that is lock plate marked 1861 Tower. I am looking for an original ramrod for it. I see some ramrods as being thicker in one area than others. What is the difference on thickness of the ramrods and does anyone have a suggestion as to how I determine which one I need. What is the original lenght of the ramrod also? I have seen some saying 37" and others 39".
