I picked up at 1840 Artillery saber at a gun show not to long ago. It is stamped Mansfield & Lamb, 1865, U.S. with an inspector mark C.E.W. It has a soilid brass artillery style grip and guard. Was wondering if anyone has come across one before. I heard that Lamb only produced 1860 Cav. model sabers. Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance
