You can still obtain osnaburg cloth at fabric stores. Some of the makers of WBTS era clothing have various qualities of reproduction material. Some of them should be able to send you a sample of each for you to compare. You may be able to find a book on Nineteenth Century textiles at your local library or on sale. Another source would be talking to a good museum curator that specializes in fabrics. Four things to remember on fabric are the weave, blend, density, and dyes. I hope this helps.
