Can anyone identify or offer a suggestion as to the manufacturer of the handgun in this picture? It appears to me to be a small framed affair with a rather long cylinder and no trigger guard. The soldier was a relative who belonged to the 38th NC. Any comments or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
