im trying to research a cased Kerr revolver i have,its cased in the American style mahogany Box , but has the J.S and Anchor stamp as well No :is 1549 on the frame and cylinder and 1296 on all other parts which i believe were the assembly no: (I could be wrong) the gun has been with the box since the year dot ,but i have heard there are a couple of ledgers which might shed some light on this matter with regards Dave
