WWW.civilwardata.com has an image of Orville A.Gibson in uniform. He wears a dark kepi and a light colored packet-fronted shirt, similar to numerous Virginia units I am familiar with. However, Gibson was in the CS Adam's Cavalry, Company E, and also in the MS 14th Infantry, Company C. The image, from Confederate Veteran, does not state which uniform he is wearing. (the other eight CS Adam's images they have used are either officers, or post war images).

I also checked the index of Military Images magazine; they do not list any images for the MS 14th, but they do list one from the MS 1st Cavalry. Not sure if this is the same unit as CS Adam's. I have the complete set of MI, and will look at the image when I get home in a week.
