Is there a definitive way to distinguish a Richmond produced ramrod from the standard tulip style ramrod found on Springfields. The one in my Richmond has an identical head to the standard Springfield ramrods, but has a smaller shaft diameter than the 1863 without the swell found on the 1855-1861's.
