I have the SRS serial number ranges for issued weapons. The list is accurate up to the point at which an actual number is listed within those published.

However, often times there are gaps in the numbers listed within the SRS. This can be due to a couple things:

1. The numbers listed within the SRS are only for certain companies within a regiment. Leading one to believe that certain numbers could still be found within the regiment, but are not listed in the SRS because those numbers have not been found within the research up to this point.

2. Or the gaps are for other regiments and not the one you happen to be looking for.

The research was still ongoing past the publication date of the numbers I have which go up to 1994 I believe. You can write to the SRS and they will see if your number 'hits' on anything, but I do believe they charge you.
