I recently bought a 3 band LAC Kerr In good condition apart from the bore. However after pickling the bore with citric acid, which slowly eats rust it is now in a shootable condition. Barrel is stamped with small oval above proof marks which reads ( Regist. 10th May 61). Rifling starts very slowly for first two inches then goes to about 1in20
Brass furniture. Chequered wrist and forend, extended for thumb rest on right.
Sights. Fore sight windage ajustable patridge in short dovetail secured with a screw. Rear sight. Very shallow vee, bacwards mounted ramp with graduations on left side. With ladder raised, numbered graduation on right side, finer unnumbered lines on the left side.
The rammer is missing. I would like to get a picture so that I can make one.
If any one needs more information please contact me.
