Civil War Cavalry Saber Reproduction

I am looking to obtain a Civil War 1840(wrist breaker) or 1860 Cavalry Saber reproduction with scabbard, that is of reenactment quality and can hold an edge. I have seen many companies offering reproductions, but they varied in price from $50 to $100. I did not want a poor quality or display weapon with a false edge. I am really interested in an edged weapon and do not have the knowledge of what companies have quality products that are historically accurate (various descriptions on the company internet sites I found are not clear on whether the guards are solid brass, edge factory sharpened, real leather etc.) Can anyone point me in the right direction?
