Thanks Geoff. I knew that Joseph moved in 1865 and 1868, but I figured it had something to do with his misfortune over the trade with the CSA. Either he had to downsize his gunmaking business or it is just a coincidence. His son said that Joseph had a trunk full of Confederate paper money.
