Unfortunately records are scarce and soldiers maddenly indefintite about exactly what they meant by "globe-sighted" or "small-bore" sharpshooter rifles. I am told elsewhere that fitting a Kerr barrel to an Enfield was fairly common for match work, alto Weller's rifle would seem to be one like you described.
