Really nice stuff. Thanks for sharing it. The 1815 Eagles lacked the niceties of the earlier models (due to a lack of manufacturing time since Napoleon was only back for some 100 days) but all Eagles are exceedingly rare because hte Bourbons melted so many down after Napoleon's falls (1814 and 1815).

The drums are great too.

There is a fine book you might enjoy called "Waterloo Relics" published by the French imprint Histoire & Collections (but in English) and written by Gilles Bernard and Gerard Lachaux. I got mine from Amazon.Com. Cool stuff found on the battlefield and in several museums.
