It wont be so easy as looking in the Cimpiled Service Records of the 12th Tenn Cav.
I have already done that. These records are NOT complete. Rankings, such as "Colorbearer",
will seldom be found. I found NO man listed as "Colorbearer" in the Compiled Service
Records of this unit.
I also viewed the 7 rolls of hand-written Confederate casualty reports (M-347). Again,
I found no record of a Colorbearer for the 12th Tenn. Cav.
