Correct - as I found out when I researched at the Western Reserve a couple years ago. I saw all of their CS flags save this one and they could not find it. They pulled all of their records and they still show it as part of their collection.

It was taken near London, KY on Bragg's retreat from KY and sent to Cleveland after that. the flag was displayed at the Cleveland Sanitary Fair during the war - I have period newspaper articles for this. In the early 1940s it was donated to Western Reserve Historical Society and sometime after that was stolen from them.

They have been fully informed of this fact and that it is in private hands today. I would love to see them get it back since the flag is still their property.
