There are two existing Hardee flags for the 17th Tennessee. One is at the TN State Museum and the other, for the combined 17th/23rd Tennessee is at the Museum of the Confederacy. I am assuming you are after the first flag.

The dimensions are:

36 inches by 39 inches overall. The white cotton border is 3 inches wide except on the hoist edge which is 2 3/4 inches wide.

These flags were made in the field by men with tailoring skills using blue bunting and white cotton cloth and the bunting color was dependent on whatever they could buy from dry goods dealers.
