Just reading through the preface of "The Returned Battle Flags" from Rollins it is indicated that Madaus prior to his death was working on an extensive 3 volume works entitled "The Southern Cross" does anyone know where his material is on this matter and whether there is plans on publishing this vast array of information on all confederate flags known?
