I am in the midst of doing some research on Civil War era miniature flags, or to use the current terminology, "Bible Flags", those small flags that were usually home-made, and carried by soldiers in pockets, or sold as Sanitary Fair fundraising items, etc. Has anyone on this list seen these, or have access to any images of those? I have been to most of the museums that have them, including the MOC, Atlanta HIstory Center, SC Relic Room, etc., but am reaching out to groups like this now to see if you have access to any that might be in smaller collections. I am NOT looking for the factory made ones, but for home-made ones, since each of those is unique.
