I did the research for Julia's for this flag and after hours of digging into every source I have, several emails to the Richmond NBF historian and noted researcher Bryce Suderow, and other sources I could not come up with a solid ID for this flag other than it came from one of the NC regiments of Clingman's Brigade. Since all of those regiments lost their flags that day how can you prove that it is the flag of the 8th NCST? I would truly be interested in knowing.
