I just picked up the july 2010 issue of "America's civil war" and an article written by zack c. waters and james c. edmonds records the battles of the 2nd Florida Regiment. They were present at the battle of Gaines Mill and they overran the 8th New York Artillery Battery and Lieutenant John T. Parker was credited to capturing its flag.
