9th Corps Flags during Overland Campaign

I'm currently researching flags for the 9th Corps during the Overland Campaign in 1864. I'm familiar with the Army of the Potomac style flags received in November 1864, but I can find few references to what the corps carried before then. Images of Burnside's HQ flag are easy to come by. Images of both the flags for both brigades in the 4th division are available. One is in the book Echoes of Glory: Arms and Equipment of the Union pg. 286, and the other is in Osprey's Flags of the American Civil War 2: Union pg. 33 (from the West Point Museum Collection). Both show a rectangular flag with green, blue, and red stripes from left to right. The 9th Corps shield and anchor are on the green strip to the left. Red numerals designating the brigade are on the middle blue stripe. What I can't find are any drawings or pictures of the brigade flags for the other three divisions of the corps. I thought that maybe these flags followed the McClellan patterns of 1862, but the description for 4th division flags don't match the surviving flags from the 1864 4th division, in colors or stripe arrangement. So I'm not sure about the other divisions either.

I'm assuming the division flags follow easily available sources, even before Nov. 1864. However, this picture threw me off. It shows General Orlando Wilcox, commander of the 3rd Division, 9th Corps. The flag of the 3rd Division should be a white flag with a blue shield, red cannon and white anchor. Obviously, this is not that flag. It more closely resembles the 2nd division flag which was blue with a white shield, red cannon and white anchor. However, the shield obviously isn't white, but the anchor is. There also appears to be a border around it.

Next up, delving through the OR.

Does anybody have a description of the 9th Corps flag system used during May-November 1864?
