I’ve taken too many person’s word on what a flag looked like to learn that it is necessary to go to the fountain for the truth. Without documented evidence I’ll question anyone on their source. Joe couldn’t or wouldn’t or just didn’t have the knowledge to back up his statements. Wouldn’t you want to know his documented sources, if you had an interest in the subject?

I have a large file on the flags of the Indian Wars and Western expansion , Paxon’s painting of Custer’s Last “Fight” Stand, is imaginary at best.
