Pursuant to this quote below from Ray's first post:

Camp's notes, re: flags, on his interview with Seifert read:

"Sgt Robert Hughes, who was killed with Custer, carried the Regimental flag. It was yellow flag with an eagle. The colors (stars and stripes) were not carried at Little Big Horn.>>>>>>

Camp is obviously incorrect here on two levels. First, the Stars and Stripes were not cavalry regimental standards at this time and, second, they WERE troop standards and, as we know, some were indeed taken at LBH.

So this account can now be called entirely into question as any good lawyer would should Camp be on a witness stand.
