Research continues on this item. The three known of this type were all captured, thus reasonably known to actually have been issued. The pattern design outlay and construction methodology follows others known of the Richmond Depot latter issues. Also working now to narrow down a possible issue date range, which is a key item. Thus far amongst them the earlist date possibility is approx October of 1864. More forthcoming...
