I think of the ANV flags and their overall weave per square inch (denisty of material) seems to be pretty consistent from bunting issue to bunting issue. One could say that although the flag star configuration and overall field size is what changed not the bunting stock and that there were few bunting shipments obtained from England over the course of the war could account for the consistency of material quality used in this theatre. Would the same hold true for the Western flag materials as well?
